BACK TO THE CITY
|
Once we high-fived the Sun King and made our way back to the city via RER, we had two more days of Paris livin' before meeting up with our RSMW friends.
The last museum on our Paris tour was the Orsay. You may already be aware that it is a converted train station and the building itself is a beaut. It beholds a large collection of impressionist art a la Manet, Renoir and Degas. I have always been a fan of Mr. Van Gogh and those Pointillism paintings that make my eyes cross, so it was good times all around. Below is a visual journey of our last couple of days in Paris. We hit Montmartre, made friends with a skinny french lad, shopped the Monoprix, and drank champers at the top of the Eiffel Tour. I recommend you strap on your seatbelt, because that 2CV ride is a bumpy one. |
